I watched a youtube video titled "Guy hit in head with .50 caliber ricochet".  I hear ricochets periodically at the range and was wondering how much of a concern should this be?  I always thought the bullet deforms and would not bounce back, at least not any distance and not at the velocity of the bullet in this video. Is this type of incedent more likely to happen with a certain type of round? With a Rifle vs. Handgun?
